What is Navigating Gray
Navigating Gray is a Nonprofit Organization located in Southern California. Our mission is to support LGBTQIA+ youth and their families.
NG started as a blog and a place to share stories and information via social media; however, as the need for resources, support, and guidance grew, the purpose and the mission for Navigating Gray grew as well.
We are a newly formed 501c3, so we are in the early stages of fundraising, formalizing our Board, and creating tools that can be used to advocate for and support LGBTQIA+ youth and their families.

Hi! I’m Megan,
I’m the mama behind Navigating Gray.
Back in 2019 when my youngest daughter socially transitioned, I made it my mission to educate, advocate and support her and our family in any way possible. What I found was that so many were just like us, who didn’t know how or where to learn more about our LGBTQIA+ youth.
Fast forward to 2022, and Navigating Gray is now a Nonprofit Organization.
Meet Harper
Harper, born in 2014 is all confidence, sass, and sarcasm. She is a true mama's girl and is such a gift to our family. Because of her, we are constantly learning daily how to be more inclusive, loving, and better humans in this world.
Meet Hayden
Hayden, born in 2010 may not be a teen just yet, however she portrays wisdom well beyond her years. She is a fierce advocate in training and looks forward to joining the Pride Club at her middle school in the fall. She
loves to dance, and has a laugh that travels throughout a room.
